vercut reframes horizontal video to vertical. The core of the product is that your video never leaves your machine, and that also decides which data exists and which does not.
Data controller
Rubén Uriel Huerta Plascencia, with address at Col. Jardines de San Miguel, San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato, C.P. 36360, México, is the controller of the personal data described in this notice.
For anything related to your data, including the controller's full postal address, write to hi@vercut.pro.
The video is not uploaded
The file you open is read and decoded in your browser. Framing, playback and export run on your machine using the browser APIs (WebCodecs, Canvas, MediaRecorder).
The video, the audio and the frames are never transmitted to a vercut server.
What is stored when you create an account
Email address and sign-in method (a password hashed by Firebase, or a Google account).
Plan, subscription status and the export counter for the week.
Project metadata: file name, duration, source resolution and the crop data. It exists to reopen your project; it does not include the file.
Payments
Charges are processed by Stripe. vercut never receives or stores the card number: only the customer id and the plan status.
The vercut.pro domain and the hi@vercut.pro mailbox run on Zoho Mail. Verification and password reset emails are sent by Firebase Auth.
Local storage
Your browser keeps the chosen language, the export counter and the session. No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers are used.
Processors
Google Firebase (authentication and database, nam5 region), Stripe (payments) and Zoho (email). Each one handles only the minimum data described above.
Security
All traffic uses TLS. Database rules prevent a client from changing its own plan, subscription or verification status; those fields are written by the server only.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your account and saved projects by writing to hi@vercut.pro. Deletion removes the user document and its projects.
Changes
When the text changes, the review date above changes with it. Substantive changes are announced by email to the account address.
